INSPIRATION

THE OCEAN. The Energy & The Calm

Living on an isolated Island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean has made an impact on my work as an artist.

The colours, the motion and the beach, with its gems that get washed to shore. To take walks on the beach where land meets another mystical world of biodiversity and thinking that over 90% of the Ocean is unseen by the human eye.

JAPANESE CULTURE

I fell in love with wood cut printing when I studied Printmaking in the Academy. I got drawn into the the Fine Art of ukiyo-e and the amazing art of Kimonos and has influenced me ever since.
